Pop that hip baby! ;)

What a super fun class I had today!

I had a morning Session with one new potential Teacher Training student ;). I am so excited to see more and more women are interested to take up the Teacher Training session. Teaching MED belly dancing is a very rewarding experience. The friendship you built along the way, the dancing skills that you will keep on upgrading and the fun will have is neverending!

Do e-mail me at elwardadance@gmail.com for more info!

And the for the Beyond Basic afternoon session, we had another Pop and Locks session, continuing with the drills! Maaaan, it was a very difficult session, but it was sooo much fun too! I am so glad my students are getting better at learning these new technical style from Sadie and Kaya.

They were so eager to learn they request for a longer session next week *gasp* - and I thought I worked them to death they don't want to come back ;)

I love Training Teachers! :D

I never realised that training teacher can be so rewarding! I finally have somebody that I can share all my experience and teaching techniques and tips :D

I really appreciate potential teachers who put their trust in me. I have been teaching for a few years, and I have developed a systematic approach to teaching the dance that is efficient for both teacher and students. I would love to be able to share this techniques and tips with more teachers, as I believe something good and beneficial should be shared and passed on to flourish.

If you are interested to join Teacher Training, do drop me an e-mail at elwardadance@gmail.com with Teacher Training in the subject!

The best women bonding session

In my opinion, the best women bonding session I have ever had is through MED /belly dancing. Here's a few reason why:

1. When dancing, we will release an uplifting hormone, endorphin and this made us happy :D

2. When dancing, we don't need to talk. Less talking, less bitching. This is one aspect that I really like because I can't stand people who 'bond' by bitching about other people. What a sad way to live!

3. When dancing, we are nurturing our feminity as a group. In a supportive and non-threatening environment, we are allowed to be ourselves, and fully express ourself.

I am grateful that I am always blessed with great women bonding session ie. my belly dancing class. Do join our women bonding session every Saturday at 4.30pm :D
