A dance for all

I really like this photo taken on the hafla I organised last March. I like it for many reason. But let me just write down 2.  

Reason 1:

This is a free-style non-choreographed routine danced by me, Siryn and Huda. But look how in-snyc we were with each other! Even our costumes looks put-together! We did not know what each other is going to wear, we have never practised or discussed anything. We get together on the floor and dance. 

Reason 2:

All of us have different styles, different personalities, and different costumes - yet we were able to come together and dance. I really like the diversity shown in this picture. I also like the unity shown in this picture. 

Many beautfiul things can happen when we allow ourselves to dance as how it's meant to be.We celebrate our ability to create beautiful elegant movements. We celebrate our uniqueness by embracing our differences. We became truly present, in the moment, and we are Grateful.
